On Saturday June 11, Morin participated in a beach cleanup with Project Save Our Surf on Santa Monica Beach in California.
The volunteers picked up trash on the beach from 11am to 1pm. They found items such as fishing nets, plastic packaging, styrofoam, bottle caps, clothing, and more.
As part of our continuing Planet Passionate initiatives, Morin is a sponsor of Project Save Our Surf. The non-profit organization hosts beach cleanups every second Saturday of the month. They paused with the pandemic, but now that they are back, Morin plans to volunteer at future cleanups.
