Innovation Meets Serenity. Shaped in Aluminum

In the heart of Raleigh’s Innovation District, St. Albans Lofts emerges as a residential landmark that blends modernity and serenity.

A Sanctuary Within the City: Design Rooted in Nature

In the heart of Raleigh’s Innovation District, St. Albans Lofts emerges as a residential landmark that blends modernity and serenity. With a forward-looking vision rooted in its surroundings, the project redefines how people live, work, and unwind. Inspired by nature, its architecture balances urban energy with calm retreat.

Clean lines, rhythmic volumes, and expansive windows create fluid, light-filled spaces. Morin’s MX-3, MX-4 and MX-6 aluminum panels anchor the façade with texture, durability, and precision.  More than a place to live, the project embodies North Hills’ essence: innovation in harmony with nature, where concept becomes form and material becomes emotion.

Where Function Defines Form

Every design decision at St. Albans Lofts was guided by purpose. Morin Matrix panels allowed architects to integrate essential performance elements directly into the façade – from ventilation to solar shading – without compromising the building’s visual clarity. The result is a clean, continuous envelope that conceals complexity behind simplicity.

Perforated aluminum panels were strategically applied in specific areas, ensuring ventilation, depth, and aesthetic unity. This integration of beauty and efficiency reflects Morin’s design philosophy: that architecture should serve both people and performance.

The system’s modular precision reduced installation time and material waste, demonstrating how intelligent design can elevate sustainability, comfort, and aesthetics in perfect harmony.
